- Write a family history journal
- Do a writing prompt. Maybe create private family blog or web page for that or the family history one.
- Take a picture or two and play with them with my camera software
- Meditate for a few minutes.
- Make a family sized flan
- Make custard pie
- Take a drive and play music
- Plan some local drives that end in parks so that I can warm up my car and so on (only get out if it is safe.). Take food with.
- Plan a longer summer day trip or perhaps even an overniight.
- Have a self grooming day and do everything that I can myself, using all the really good stuff
- Practice German
- Do a spontaneous art journal page for a few minutes
- Work on the most recent New York Times Crossword
- Have some one on one with the dog
- Search for a new author I've never read
- Write or research a family recipe for my ongoing recipe binder for family
- Spend no more than an hour on ancestry.com
- Come up with a framed/other idea for genealogy and or a piece of memorabilia I have.
- Practice some sewing machine stitches in colored thread (so that in the end I have a wall sampler of my stitches).
- Make a patriotic runner and napkins
- Make a patriotic mini quilt
- Work on daughter's Tshirt quilt
- Knit a washcloth out of yarn on hand
- Play with my wardrobe and figure out how many outfits I can get mixing and matching so I know what I need.
- Order one each of all the "clothing boxes" and review them on the blog-take pictures of myself once my hair is presentable.
- Make a palm tree mini quilt.
- Finish re arranging the sewing room
- Make a list of everything I'll need in my apartment
- Then make a list of "have/buy new/try to source first"
- Update things that I'd like to watch using sites like this one. Realizing that I can never watch everything on the list.
- Watch a class or instructional program (utube, Great Courses, Coursera, whatever).
- Make muffins
- Have a zoom coffee with my gals
- Read for my bible study
- Do a virtual sip and paint or other fun thing
- Find an brand new Utube exercise class and try it!
- Make a list of self care things I can do for myself.
- Do a virtual Museum tour.
- Design a new landscape quilt.
- Practice fabric painting with my birthday gifts.
- Take one of those drives and keep a list of where I went.
- Make an ongoing blog idea list.
- Read a classic novel that I haven't (Infinite Jest?).
- Make a plan for making Christmas gifts for all.
- Watch all the movies I have not seen that Sean Bean dies in or Christoper Walken dances in (long story. Very long story).
- Start a Pinterest try/Fail project and share it.
- Decide on a craft book or frugal retirement book project and actually start it.
- Find a musical concert to watch virtually.
- Watch the star wars movies in order once I decide which order is best.
- Make a simple card for a senior or meals on wheels recipient or even for family. It doesnt have to be high art. Write something meaningful inside. (I have many blank cards)
- Make a positive comment on social media, on other's blogs, give reviews
- Make a list of all the small businesses close to me that I would use, and buy gift cards from or use them when I can.
- Take pictures of and scan some old photos and upload them to the family cloud.
- Start a gratitude journal and include a daily list of accomplishments/good things.
- Start researching healing salves and alternative recipes-for fun.
- Update my selling Facebook page and use my supplies to make upcycled and re-usable items to sell
